Rise.
Get up.
You're not done yet.
Get back in the fight.
This isn't just a call to action for when times are hard to keep moving forward. This is a call to arms for awareness of your actions.
Everyone's issues are relative to their center of gravity to the reality they have created. Whatever you are going through, this is your relative "hard." Envy not what others have for you know not the price that was paid.
Focus on what you can control.
As I write this in the patio of a Starbucks drinking my black iced coffee I'm taking a breath from my busy day interacting with clients and traveling. Hot with a wave of inspiration from my day and my surroundings. In this breath is presence and awareness, a higher consciousness and a deeper understanding of the extrinsic variables at play.
Yet, in all of this, I recognize one simple truth…
I can't control:
The busy traffic,
The long line at Starbucks,
Rising egg prices and a lack thereof & how my partner craves them for breakfast,
The insider trading occurring from congress,
Mass institution sell off of various securities, or
The war torn countries and mass hunger across the globe.
....(Wow that escalated quickly)....
Simply stated, I cannot control the external outside of my means, the world constantly and rapidly unfolds before us. It's as unpredictable and untamed as a feral animal. In this dog eat dog world where the external is consistently trying to one up, undermine, and push you aside. If you act like a dog, you will be treated like a dog.
It's your choice.
...Heaven or Hell...
Regardless of your faith, with awareness one can understand the concept of good and evil. One can choose to live in accordance of what is bad (granted there are restrictions derived from: society, education, media, economy, etc. programming in a nutshell) and steal, cheat, lie, avoid, overindulge, covet, have an egotistical sense of pride (Some pride is necessary, yet there must be humility to balance). Need I continue, or do you catch my drift?

Be Good.
You have the ability to shape your reality. Every thought, every action, every choice you make shifts the scales towards the reality of your intention.
The future is written through the actions of your present. Will you be thankful tomorrow? Next week? Next Month? Next Year?...
This isn't just for you.
You are here for a purpose (exactly what that is I'm not sure, I'm still figuring out mine). The only way to find out is by:
Taking action,
Creating,
Being Present,
Moving with Intentionality,
The actions you take will echo in eternity, how you show up in the world and interact with it ripples and compounds far greater than you will ever understand.
Be the person you are meant to be by taking accountability for your life.
Start Small, Start Now.
This isn't meant to be a "how to" manual for being good, this is more so a call to arms. Pick up the sword and slay the dragon. For this is your path and I wish you an amazing camino.
